While being locked down during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Russian activists organize a protest on Zoom-conference against uranium enrichment waste imported from Germany.
From May 6 till May 14 2020 the ship "Mikhail Dudin" was traveling from the seaport of Amsterdam to the seaport of Ust-Luga (Leningradski region) with another batch of uranium enrichment waste imported from Germany. The Urenco company has arranged the transfer of uranium waste to Russia, because it doesn't want to be responsible for its storage in Germany. During the online protest on the Zoom platform, each participating activist opened their own piece of banner, that finally formed a message in Russian: No to uranium tails! (in Russian: Нет урановым хвостам!) and the second one - in German language: "Urenco: behaltet Euren Atommüll in Deutschland!“.
