Schiphol, 14 mei - Actievoerders van Greenpeace Nederland zijn vanochtend de Aalsmeerbaan bij Schiphol opgefietst. Ze willen dat er voorwaarden worden gesteld aan de miljarden die de overheid uittrekt om grote vervuilers te steunen. Tussen de geparkeerde KLM-toestellen hebben zij een spandoek uitgerold met de tekst: ‘Geen poen zonder groen!’. Joris Thijssen, directeur Greenpeace Nederland: “KLM wordt met miljarden gesteund, terwijl dit bedrijf geen klimaatplan heeft en ook geen belasting betaalt. Als maatschappij staan we deze sector bij om hen door de crisis te loodsen, maar niet met als doel om ons nog dieper in een volgende crisis te storten. Als we eerlijk en groen uit de crisis willen komen, zijn dit soort blanco cheques aan grote vervuilers onacceptabel. Het kabinet moet klimaatvoorwaarden stellen aan deze crisis-miljarden.”
