Shoot: Russian Oil Spill Patrol in Komi Republic

GP0STOIVM
Experts and volunteers from Greenpeace, along with partner organisation Save the Pechora Committee are mapping and cleaning land oil spills in the Komi Republic, Russia.
Instead of cleaning the spill and reclaiming the soil, as required by regulations, the oil companies merely cover the spot with sand or jumble the oil with the soil. This results in the contamination of thousands of hectares of land, pollution of rivers and subterranean waters.
