Activists from the Greenpeace ship, Rainbow Warrior, set up oil spill booms and floating banners reading: "Save Our Seas - No Oil" to warn against the danger posed by oil exploration off the island of Kefalonia. The Ionian island group, heavily rely on tourism and fisheries for their economic development.
The event is part of the Rainbow Warrior's 'Mediterranean Climate & Energy Tour', supporting the phasing out of dirty fossil fuels and shift to clean renewable energy.
