World Environment day celebrations in Kedia, Bihar, India. The day started with a banner march, public outreach in the local market and schools, a tree planting event with 120 people led by 90 years old Sobhit Da. Village elders, veteran farmer organisers including Lakshikant Guruji, Mahendra Singh and Chunni Yadav addressed the village meeting, assuring and expressing full support for Greenpeace India. One in a series of events over three days to show public support for Greenpeace India in its battle for survival against the government of India which has attempted to freeze its financial assets and stop campaigners from traveling outside India.
