Environmental problems caused by Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) continue around the site of the former Chemko chemical facility. 250 000 people are living on the affected area with proven health problems caused by PCB contamination. Greenpeace takes samples of mud from a contaminated river near the town of Strazske. The barrels with the samples were then taken to the Ministry for the Environment, asking the ministry to deal with this critical situation.
