Greenpeace activists block the entrance of Pingo Doce supermarket at Cais do Sodré, one of the busiest train stations in Lisbon. They hand out leaflets to consumers to raise awareness on sustainable fishing and on the crises faced by our oceans. Pingo Doce claims to support and preserve the oceans, but ignores the thousands of requests from the Portuguese people to improve its offer of sustainable fish. Scientists have shown that 90% of the ocean’s large fish – such as cod, tuna and swordfish - have already been fished out.
