Typhoon survivors, advocates and civil society groups including Greenpeace in the Philippines, filed a complaint to the Commission on Human Rights of the Philippines (CHR), the first of its kind in the world. The group is demanding an investigation into top 50 investor-owned fossil fuel companies and their responsibility for climate impacts that endanger peoples' lives and livelihoods, as well as that of future generations.
