Three Belgian farmers travel to France to meet Sébastien and his partners in their farm.
In a major agricultural area known for its livestock breeding, GAEC Ursule differs from other farms in respect to its diversity and its feed autonomy. With 5 partners across approximately 200 hectares, they breed cows and chickens and a wide variety of grains and oilseed/protein crops.
FarmErasmus is a visit programme designed to allow farmers to spend a bit of time on a ‘host farm’ where they can study a particular aspect of ecological farming in practice.
Many farmers are involved in this initiative, which is supported and hosted by a local organisation called GRAPEA.

FarmErasmus is a visit programme managed by Greenpeace France in cooperation with other offices to allow farmers within the EU to spend a bit of time on a ‘host farm’ where they can study a particular aspect of ecological farming in practice. FarmErasmus is a non commercial ecological farming exchange program. It is not sponsored by the European Commission and it is not affiliated in any way to the EU Erasmus or Erasmus+ Programme.
