Inspired by a classic work by Banksy, Greenpeace activists painted ”NO NEED TO PANIC” halfway below the waterline on the Swedish parliament. The action was carried out before a special Parliamentary debate prompted by a report showing that Sweden is not meeting its climate targets. Greenpeace is demanding that Swedish politicians hear the call from an increasing number of organizations and declare a state of climate emergency.

Inspirerade av ett klassiskt Banksy-verk målade aktivister från Greenpeace texten “NO NEED TO PANIC” halvvägs under vattenlinjen på riksdagshuset. Aktionen genomfördes inför en extrainsatt riksdagsdebatt med anledning av rapporten från Klimatpolitiska rådet som visar att Sverige inte når klimatmålen och att utsläppsminskningarna har avstannat. Greenpeace uppmanar Sveriges politiker att lyssna till kravet som ställs från allt fler organisationer om att utlysa klimatnödläge.
