In an unprecedented situation of the political history in Chile, a dolphin announced in the Plaza Italia, heart of Santiago, his intention to formally become a presidential candidate for next November's elections. With the support of Greenpeace, its central proposal will have to do with the protection of the country's environmental heritage and the care of the seas, especially in connection with the situation of the salmon industry in the Chilean Patagonia.

During his speech, the Chilean Dolphin said: "It seems that neither the political world nor the government is aware of the seriousness of the environmental threat Chile is facing today. We are among the 10 most affected countries in the world due to the effects of climate change and it seems that no candidate cares. We want the environmental issue to be taken seriously and become a priority."
