Greenpeace activists carry out an action against the cargo ship Izmir Castle, carrying 15000 tonnes of palm kernel, in protest against the forest destruction occurring in Indonesia for palm oil production. Global deforestation accounts for about a fifth of global greenhouse gas emissions and has led Indonesia to become the world’s third largest climate polluter, after China and the US.
