Greenpeace activists protest at Europe's largest coal import harbour in Rotterdam calling for European Governments to immediately stop using coal and move to clean energy investments. This action occurs during the formation period of the new Dutch Government. Fifteen activists chain themselves to two enormous cranes, blocking ships from South Africa, Indonesia, US and Australia from discharging their coal. The activists unfurl a banner across the crane reading ‘D66 CDA VVD=CO2', representing the three Dutch political parties who had won the recent election and whose plans would equal further C02 emissions. Two other activists unfurl a banner that reads ‘Coal Fuels Climate Change’ on the edge of the harbour.
