Forty international Greenpeace activists are protesting on the Gorner glacier and Monte Rosa against the inaction of politicians on climate change and the disastrous climate change targets of the Federal Council. With the message: "OUR CLIMATE: YOUR DECISION!" they call upon all state leaders to finally take responsibility for global climate protection. The Federal Council, which adopts the Swiss climate targets this week, calls on Greenpeace to start with groundwork for the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this year: minus 40% in CO2 emissions by 2020 and 1.3 billion francs in the global climate fund. On the glaciers of Zermatt, Greenpeace draws attention to the little time we have left: Only 100 days until the all-important climate change conference in Copenhagen. Now, the leaders must finally take action.
