Shoot: Action against Suncor Energy in Edmonton

GP0STO41S
Greenpeace activists block a 400 tonne piece of machinery that separates bitumen and sand, called a coker, destined for tar sands expansion for 14 hours in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The coker will be used at Suncor Energy Inc.'s Fort McMurray site to double production of oil from tar sands. Two Greenpeace climbers scaled the 10-metre high coker, two locked themselves underneath the truck trailer, and another locked into concrete barrels in front of the trailer.
