Wehea Protected Forest in Muara Wahau, East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan, the last remaining forest - a home for orangutans.
It is currently co-managed between the local Wehea Dayak people and from the village of Nehas Liah Bing and Wehea Management Body.

The forest is surrounded by palm oil plantation owned by Sinar Mas group and PT Dharma Agrotama Nusantara (DSN) group.
