As the Arctic 30 face their 30th day of imprisonment by Russian authorities, nearly 10,000 people are taking to the streets at 85 events in 36 cities to call for their immediate release. Also the public is asked to sign a petition addressed to the Russian embassy in which the release of the Arctic 30 is urged. Today it is exactly 30 days ago when armed Russian coastguards entered the Greenpeace ship the Arctic Sunrise.
