Greenpeace activists hold a detox outdoor fashion-show at Myeong-dong, the fashion capital of South Korea. The fashion-show is a follow-up action of the recent Greenpeace report on the use of hazardous PFCs by global outdoor brands such as the North Face and Black Yak. Most outdoor brands have their flagship retail store at Myeong-dong. At the fashion-show, the activists express their concerns over the wide use of PFCs in the outdoor industry, and show a commitment to reject the PFCs contained outdoor products. 

국제 환경단체 그린피스 활동가들이 서울 명동에서 디톡스 아웃도어 패션쇼를 열었다. 명동은 한국 패션 산업의 중심지이다. 많은 한국인들과 관광객들이 방문하고 쇼핑하는 곳이다. 노스페이스, 블랙야크와 같은 많은 국내외 유명 아웃도어 브랜드들은 명동에 지점을 두고 있다. 최근 그린피스는 많은 유명 아웃도어 브랜드 제품의 성분조사에서 유해 화학물질을 검출PFC(과불화화합물)하였다. 활동가들은 패션쇼를 통해 유해물질로 만들어진 제품을 거부한다는 항의의 메시지를 전달하였다.
