The mannequins all look out towards the gushing effluent from the pipe mouth, 'witnessing' the Qiantang River pollution through live webcams incased in their heads.The Greenpeace investigatory report; "Toxic Threads: Putting Pollution on Parade" released 4th December 2012, revealed that effluent from the Linjiang WWTP contained various toxic chemicals including carcinogens.
