Mr Sawat Suthasan (58) a Longan farmer in Doi Lor district, Chiang Mai province, checks the levels of water in the pond they created at Ping river.
Villagers created pond to help them collect water for farming use.
Water pumps are placed in the riverbed to supply water for 26 villages covering 640 hectares of farm land.
