"Night of the Action" at Greenpeace Netherlands Warehouse in Amsterdam
Around 150 people attend the event “Night of the Action” at the Greenpeace Netherlands warehouse where they screenprint bags and shirts with the “Protestival” logo and attend other activities like tours through the warehouse, playing music and enjoying ‘gezelligheid' (Dutch word for cozy atmosphere).
Most attendees were picked up at Amsterdam’s Central Station by inflatable boats.
As part of the Greenpeace NL Aviation campaign 'Emergency Landing for the Climate', the evening is organized to enthuse people to come on board and participate in the Protestival, an NVDA (non violent direct action) that will be held on 14 & 15 December at Schiphol airport area.
This is an 'open' campaign: Schiphol and the city council have been notified, and Greenpeace is actively encouraging people to come up with their own ideas and to participate in an action training (for newcomers) or an action meeting (for experienced people).
