'Protect the Oceans' Whale Art Installation in Morocco
One hundred and thirty Greenpeace MENA volunteers are involved in the creation of a human banner in Tangier, Morocco, to send a message to the world to protect our oceans.
An art installation of a whale made from 800 used plastic bottles, created by artist Mokhtar Ghailan, is placed on the beach during the activity.
Greenpeace is campaigning for a global ocean treaty covering all seas outside of national waters and for the creation of at network of ocean sanctuaries covering 30% of our global oceans by 2030.
