This is hours after Minster of Environment and Forest Jayanthi Natarajan opened the United Nations summit on biodiversity in Hyderabad. The banner, displaying the Indian Prime Minister’s face read – Stop Coal Crimes – Save Indian Forests, demanding that the Indian Government halt all new coal mining in forest areas to conserve biodiversity.
