‘Two Months of Injustice’ Global Day of Solidarity in the Hague

30 Greenpeace activists, representing the 'Arctic 30', pass by the Shell Headquarters, the Peace Palace and government buildings during a demonstration in the Hague.

At events across the world, thousands of people take part in a day of solidarity to mark two months since the Arctic 30 were detained following a peaceful protest against Arctic oil drilling. A Russian court has charged the Arctic 30 (twenty-eight Greenpeace International activists, as well as a freelance videographer and photographer) with both piracy and hooliganism.
In original language:
"Twee Maanden Onrechtvaardigheid - Wereldwijde Solidariteitsdag Arctic 30" in Den Haag
Hierop staat in Rusland 15 jaar gevangenisstraf.
