100-percent Renewable School Campaign in Northern Bohemia
Greenpeace Czech Republic started peer to peer crowdfunding project to raise money for PV panels for school in Horni Jiretin. This town in the lignite region of Northern Bohemia was endangered by coal mining for many years and now it is ditching coal and plans to go 100 % RE. The first project is to get local school coal free. Greenpeace therefore organised an interactive day for the school kids with presentations, creative workshops, solar ice cream, virtual reality goggles and recycling workshop
