A 5 Meter-Tall Trolley at Lotte-Mart in Korea
Activists are holding up banners saying “Lotte-Mart fails to reduce single-use plastic” and “Reducing single-use plastic abroad, but why not in Korea?” in front of Lotte-Mart Sondo store. Lotte-Mart which is one of the largest supermarket chains in South Korea, announced a single-use plastic reduction target for its stores in Vietnam in 2019. However, so far there’s been no such announcement in Korea yet.
