A Bio Farm in Hernádszentandrás
A biofarm in Hernádszentandrás, Hungary, which is run by the inhabitants of the small village. Branded as “Bioszentandrás”, it is the biggest bio farm in the region. Hungarian Tour to Promote Ecological Farming
Greenpeace is currently on tour to promote a move towards ecological farming throughout Hungary. The tour, which involves a series of events, has the goal of prompting action by inspiring discussions to contribute to the spread of sustainable agricultural methods in Hungary. This time the tour stops at Hernádszentandrás and Miskolc. The inhabitants of the small village, branded as “Bioszentandrás”, are running the biggest bio farm in the region. Ecological farming has changed the lives of local people here. By telling their stories, Greenpeace illustrates that this is a great opportunity for other small settlements too.
