ASEAN Energy Ministers Meeting in Cambodia
Cambodian child drinks hot chocolate brewed using solar energy. Greenpeace Solar Generation youth group brewed coffee, tea and chocolate at the entrance of the famed Angkor Wat in Cambodia to demonstrate the applicability of solar energy to the Cambodian public picnicking at the historic temple grounds. Solar Generation members from Cambodia, Laos, Philippines and Thailand came to the ASEAN Energy Ministers meeting to deliver their demand for clean energy to thwart climate change.

Climate ASEAN Energy Ministers Meeting in Cambodia
Members of Greenpeace Solar Generation youth group today handed a solar PV system to the government of Cambodia which hopes to provide clean renewable energy for up to 70 percent of its population by 2030. Solar Generation members from Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and Philippines participated in the week-long event to deliver their demand to the ASEAN for clean energy to thwart climate change.
