Abbot Point Aerials
Aerial footage of Abbot Point and the surrounding Caley Valley Wetlands. Abbot Point is potentially set to become one of the worlds biggest coal ports should the proposed developments go ahead. The Galilee Basin in Central Western Queensland, which the port would service, is one of the largest coal deposits in the world and would send carbon emissions spiralling should it be burned. Abbot Point sits within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and World Heritage Area.
