Action at 100 Years of Aviation Celebration in Amsterdam
Organised by KLM the Dutch avation industry celebrated 100 years of avation. As guest of honor His Royal Higness Willem-Alexander, king of the Netherlands was invited. Greenpeace protested against the ongoing trend of avation growth with the signs "Stop luchtvaartgroei" (Stop aviation growth), "Noodlanding voor het klimaat" (Crash landing for the climate) and "*KCCCHT* This is your planet speaking". The aviation industry is one of the few industries in the Netherlands that are not being targeted with new government measures to reduce CO2 emissions.
