Action at Generali Office in Switzerland
Greenpeace activists protest in front of the Generali offices in Nyon.
They denounce the Italian insurer’s continued support of companies that use coal to produce energy, despite publishing ambitious guidelines in 2018 for climate protection and coal sector disengagement. Generali, Europe’s third largest insurance company, continues to collaborate with PGE and CEZ, companies that plan to continue to produce in the coming years massive amounts of electricity with lignite, the most harmful type of coal for the climate and biodiversity.

Nyon, 26.
