Action at Japan Embassy in Korea against Fukushima Contaminated Water Discharge
Greenpeace Seoul office held a press conference with a banner action at the Japan embassy in Korea. A public comment process, which has been postponed 3 times by external pressure on the Japan government, is due to end on July 31st on the proposed options for discharging over 1 million tons of highly contaminated water currently stored in tanks at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. Greenpeace Seoul office has submitted 80,000 petitions of Korea citizens via the official website of the Japan government, and delivered our demand at the Japan embassy in Korea with the performance.
