On the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the adoption of the Paris Agreement, which is commemorated on Dec. 12th, Greenpeace Spain activists have scaled the replica of the Eiffel Tower in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid) on which they have placed a giant banner that reads "Compliance with the Paris Agreement: as fake as this tower." The environmental organization is thus based on the symbol of Paris under which the historic climate agreement was adopted on December 12, 2015 and on a much smaller copy that is more in line with the deficit measures that the states are taking. 

Con motivo del quinto aniversario de la adopción del Acuerdo de París, que se conmemora mañana, activistas de Greenpeace han escalado a primera hora de hoy la réplica de la Torre Eiffel en Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), en la que han colocado una pancarta gigante donde se lee “Cumplimiento Acuerdo de París: tan falso como esta torre”. La organización ecologista se apoya así en el símbolo de París bajo el que se adoptó el histórico acuerdo del clima el 12 de diciembre de 2015 y en una copia mucho más pequeña que se ajusta más a las deficitarias medidas que están asumiendo los estados.
