Action in Poland to Protect Bialowieza Forest
“Cała Puszcza parkiem narodowym” ("Entire Bialowieza Forest should be a national park”) read banners unfolded by Greenpeace activists next to chairman Jarosław Kaczyński during the V Congress of Law and Justice, ruling party in Poland.
Two Greenpeace activists got to the stage during the speech of the chairman of the ruling party and displayed banners with the slogan "Entire Bialowieza Forest should be a national park" to call for the protection of the Białowieża Forest. In particular Greenpeace referred to the project to establish Białowieża National Park on the whole territory of the Białowieża Forest, that was developed by advisors of former President Lech Kaczynski.
