In a two-hour, 270 metre dive, actor Javier Bardem has visited the bottom of the Antarctic Ocean in a two-person submarine, together with Greenpeace marine biologist John Hocevar. Greenpeace is conducting submarine-based research of the seafloor to identify Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems, which will strengthen the case for the largest protected area on the planet, an Antarctic Ocean Sanctuary.
