Adriatic Sun-Plugged Tour in Croatia
As part of the Paradise Project, Greenpeace organizes a 10 day summer tour in Croatia to promote solar energy. Using mobile solar panels a Sun-Plugged concert is organized where free mobile charging is offered, together with internet and sun-cooled drinks.
With an average of 2600 sunny hours a year, Adriatic sea tourism can be powered by 100% renewable energy.
Tourists and locals have expressed a huge amount of support by signing a petition and holding speech bubbles with messages in support of solarized holidays.
