Anti Gorleben Protest: A new Name for the Ministry of Environment in Germany - News Access
Berlin 2010-10-18: Greenpeace activists have set up a new name plate at the Ministry of Environment today reading: “Ministry of nuclear power and enterprise interests“. The new name in the view of Greenpeace shows the nuclear course of the government supported by conservative environmental minister Röttgen (CDU - Christian Democrats). As such it is also a protest against the resumption of the exploration of Gorleben (Wendland, Lower Saxony) as a final storage site for nuclear waste. Statement: Tobias Münchmeyer, Greenpeace Germany energy expert
