They demanded an immediate moratorium on all new nuclear projects, and a stringent review of existing plants by independent experts. About 73000 petitions against the proposed Jaitapur project were delivered to the Indian Prime Minister’s office. These Petitions were collected by Greenpeace and Avaaz.
