As of End-2017, 3 Agro-companies Will Dominate the Global Agro-system

The global food system is dominated by less and less corporations. And market concentration will only increase: By the end of 2017, only 3 corporations (Bayer-Monsanto, DuPont/Dow, ChemChina/Syngenta) will have assumed control over two thirds of the global market for seeds and agrochemicals. This means that 3 big companies would stand between +570mm farmers and +7bn consumers.
