A group gathered near the Washington Monument where international civic group Avaaz presented a letter that was written to Trump resisting discrimination. The letter gained signatures from over 5 million people from around the world since the Muslim ban. At the rally, people wrote messages to Trump on a large wall display and then held a candlelight vigil.
