The message on the balloon reads "CO2-Steuer statt heißer Luft", in English "CO2 tax instead of hot air" and the banner reads “Klimaschutz statt heiße Luft”, in English: “Climate protection instead of hot air”.In original language:Heiße Luft Bundeskanzleramt WienVor dem Bundeskanzleramt füllten heute Vormittag zwanzig Greenpeace-Aktivisten einen Riesenballon mit dreieinhalb Metern Durchmesser mit der im Ministerrat zum Thema Klimaschutz abgesonderten „heißen Luft“. Locations:Austria-Central Europe-ViennaDate:8 Aug, 2007Credit:© Greenpeace / Teresa NovotnyMaximum size:3504px X 2336pxKeywords:Actions and protests-Banners-Climate (campaign title)-Day-Direct communications-Governments and Government organisations-Greenpeace activists-KWCI (GPI)-Large group of people-Outdoors-SummerShoot:Balloon Filled with Politicians’ Hot Air in ViennaIn front of the Federal Chancellery in Vienna Greenpeace activists fill a huge balloon symbolically with the “hot air” that is being emitted by the Council of Ministers that is taking place there. The banner reads “Klimaschutz statt heiße Luft”, in English: “Climate protection instead of hot air”. Greenpeace calls for a discussion about a 100% exit from fossil energies until 2050 as well as for measures that verifiably lead to a reduction of greenhouse gases, like a CO2-tax, the extension of green electricity or truck and car tolls.
