The jury examines their garden for a more detailed assessment together with a journalist of the popular Dutch radio program ‘Vroege Vogels’. At the end of the day the jury announces the three final winners.This competition is part of the Save the Bees campaign with which Greenpeace wants to emphasize the crucial role of bees and other pollinators for agriculture and global food production and the fact that they are seriously threatened by the use of many types of pesticides. According to Greenpeace therefore, there is an urgent need for the elimination of bee-harming pesticides used for farming methods.
