With this boat tour, Greenpeace draws attention to the danger of over-aged reactors in Europe. During two months, the "Beluga II" will cross regions of old nuclear power plants in Germany, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland and will visit 14 cities. Visitors are welcome on board. In an exhibition, they can find out about the risks posed by ageing nuclear reactors and participate in the protest against the European energy policy.In original language:Schiffstour gegen Altreaktoren in EuropaDas Greenpeace-Schiff «Beluga II» faehrt während seiner Protestfahrt mit dem Namen «out of age tour» an dem AKW Phlippsburg vorbei. Das Schiff trägt ein Banner zwischen den Masten mit der Botschaft: „Stop risking Europe“. Ein zweites Banner mit der Botschaft in deutsch: „Radioaktivität kennt keine Grenzen“. Mit dieser Schiffstour macht Greenpeace auf die Gefahr von Altreaktoren in Europa aufmerksam. Acht Wochen lang wird die „Beluga II“ auf Rhein und Mosel in die Regionen alter AKW in Deutschland, Frankreich, Luxemburg und der Schweiz fahren. Weitere Stationen der Tour sind unter anderen Strassburg, Remich, Trier und Köln. In insgesamt 14 Städten wird die „Beluga II“ Halt machen. Besucher sind an Bord herzlich willkommen. A 7.5 metre high banner flies between the two masts, displaying the message ‘Stop risking Europe!’ Activists on board the vessel are calling for the closure of out of age nuclear power plants across the continent. The ship is on a two month tour along the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
