Bluefin Tuna Action in the Mediterranean
A cutting grapple from the Greenpeace ship MY Arctic Sunrise is thrown into the net of a tuna cage.
Greenpeace is taking non-violent action to release highly endangered bluefin tuna from a cage towed by a tugboat to a tuna farm where the fish are to be fattened and sold. A banner on the ship calls for "Marine Reserves Now!" Greenpeace is in the Mediterranean Sea to take action against bluefin tuna fishing fleets and to promote a network of marine reserves.
