Build Back Better Activity at Swedish Department of Finance in Stockholm
Greenpeace Sweden activists re-name the Swedish Department of Finance to the “Department of Climate, Environment and Transition”. The billions in public investments that are now being directed from this department in response to the COVID-19 crisis will greatly influence how Sweden's ability to deal with the twin crises of climate and biodiversity loss. Greenpeace is urging Minister for Finance Magdalena Andersson and Minister for Financial Market Per Bolund to Build Back Better and make sure resources now being deployed in response to COVID-19 is also enabling the transition of Swedish society to radically reduce climate emissions, create a circular economy, and build long term sustainability.
