Documentation of Forest Fires Area in SSS Riau

Greenpeace sent an investigation team to Pangkalan Terap in Riau’s Teluk Meranti subdistrict, following a serious outbreak of fire in the area, which is caused by drainage for a palm oil plantation. The photos show that despite government orders to block drainage canals in plantations, the dangerous practice is still active, endangering people and the environment.
