Second Demonstration at the Arrival of Shipment of Brazilian Soya in France
In France's major ports, the parade of cargo ships filled with Brazilian soya is in full swing. On 23 September, while Brazil is still in the grip of drought and flames, the cargo ship Xenia from the port of Rio Grande in Brazil unloaded its cargo of 28,000 tonnes of soya cake at the port of Montoir-de-Bretagne. This was done without France demanding a guarantee from the importers that the cultivation of this soya would have no impact on Brazil's forest ecosystems.
