Different kind trash found during the action on the coast of Kama River in Perm.
Greenpeace Russia volunteers cleaned up the coastline of the Kama River in Perm. They collected all trash on a 100-meter stretch of the coast line: plastic bottles, single-use plastic containers, cups and other garbage. 12 activists made a description of different types of plastic waste collected on the coast.
Greenpeace Russia organized a series of "plasticwatching" actions in different cities. In 2019 participants of these actions collected, counted and sorted 229,123 garbage fragments into categories. It turned out that 68.1% of them are plastic, and 31.9% — other types of waste.
96.2% of 156,125 plastic fragments are parts of disposable items and packaging.

Мусор, собранный во время акции на берегу реки Кама в Перми.
Активисты Гринпис России очистили 100-метровый участок берега река Кама в Перми от пластикового мусора (пластиковые бутылки, одноразовые пластиковые контейнеры, чашки) и проанализировали его состав. Участники акции составили описание типов пластикового мусора, собранного на побережье.
Гринпис России организовал серию таких акций в нескольких городах. В 2019 году участники народных проверок собрали, посчитали и рассортировали по категориям 229 123 фрагмента мусора. Оказалось, что 68,1 % из них занимает пластик, а 31,9 % — другие виды отходов. 96,2 % из собранных 156 125 пластиковых фрагментов — это части одноразовых вещей и упаковки.
