This is the message Greenpeace volunteers exclaim during the Eindhoven Marathon sponsored by E.ON. They run in t-shirts reading 'E.ON help ons klimaat niet naar de kolen', which translates to English as 'E.ON don't help our climate to the coals'. They demand E.ON not helping our climate to the coals. Along the track of the marathon Greenpeace also shows graffiti reading 'Ren weg bij E.ON' with this message they ask clients to go to another supplier. Greenpeace urges E.ON to stop building polluting coal-fired power plants. Recent study shows that E.ON is the most polluting electricity company in The Netherlands. The coal-fired power plant E.ON wants to build, emits yearly as much CO2 as 2 million cars. Clients who don't want their money to be spend on new coal-fired power plants must better leave E.ON, states Meike Baretta Climate & Energy campaigner. During this day Greenpeace offers the runners and visitors the possibility to switch to a cleaner electricity supplier.
