This weekend Solar Generation starts in the Netherlands. Solar Generation is an initiative of Greenpeace, in which students who really want climate change can take action and find solutions. Solar Generation already excists in France, Germany, Switzerland, United States, Philippines, China and India. Students can make out a case for concrete changes, like installing solar panels on the roof of their university or clean energy in their students' house. Students belong to a generation that can make a difference. During the Energy Beach Tour in IJmuiden on the 14th of August the first students can sign up. After this kick off Solar Generation will visit colleges and universities throughout the country to attract more students for the project.
